The Andes Pit Theater at Worcester Academy

Performances in "the Pit" have a very intimate feel. This retro-fitted gymnasium is an extremely versatile theater with no proscenium nor limitations.  The first row of seats is usually only a few feet away from the actors, and the extended seating in the balcony is no more than the distance you could spit a cricket. There are no bad seats in this house: once you enter and are surrounded by the pure black walls and curtains you will find yourself immersed in the bright, lively performances that will ensue.

The Andes Pit Theater is in the basement of Walker Hall, which is building #1 on the campus map, and the first building you will see upon entering the campus from Providence Street.

There is ample parking within the Worcester Academy campus, in the first parking lot or anywhere around the green.

Unity Hall at the First Unitarian Church of Worcester

This open, versatile space is the favorite venue for the annual Coffeehouse. Seating arrangements are customizable on the hardwood floor, often including tables for easy evening foodservice. Underneath the high, chandalier-adorned ceiling there is a cyclorama stage ensuring every note and sound of the performance reaches all the way to the back of the hall. This venue is fully handicap accessible.

Unity Hall is directly accessible from the upper parking lot on State Street.

Parking

There are two lots on the State Street side of the church, with additional parking on-street on Main, State, and Harvard streets. There is additional parking in the lot on the opposite side of the church, accessible from Main Street between the church and the courthouse.
